It's time for Lunch & Learn! If you market steaks and hamburgers to vegetarians you will never connect with your marketplace. That is an extreme example that illustrates a very important point about establishing online relationships. Your blog or website needs to be producing the type of content that your readers are looking for. In marketing circles, this involves defining your ideal avatar. An avatar in this sense is the typical persona or personality profile that represents your "perfect" prospect. This can be done by asking a few relevant questions. Think individuals here, not groups of people. What does your ideal customer look like? How old is he or she? Are you dealing with a female or a male? What irrational or rational fears and desires drive this person's behaviors online? How much money does this perfect prospect make each year? What are the biggest problems (that pertain to your marketplace or niche) your avatar faces on a daily basis? These are just a few questions you should be asking to establish a clear and laser focused picture of your ideal prospect/customer. You basically need to mentally turn yourself into the type of person you are trying to attract and market to. You need to perfectly identify the characteristics of your ideal client or customer before you make an attempt to establish a relationship with him or her. In fact, I think it's so important that I want to offer you a FREE customer avatar worksheet to help you get the ball rolling directly toward your target market! Download here: http://bit.ly/2h31dq2
